Jennifer Martin, LCPC
A little bit of anxiety might be helpful to motivate you to study for a test, prepare for a work presentation, or make sure everything is locked up before you go away on a trip. However, excessive anxiety can become so difficult to manage that your day is ruled by your symptoms. If you are someone that finds your anxiety interfering with your daily life, I can help you manage your worries so that you can enjoy what actually matters to you.
Having both outpatient (office) and hospital setting experience, I will utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) to challenge your fears, worries and unhelpful thought patterns.
I can help you better manage anxiety disorders such as obsessive compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety, school anxiety specific phobias including emetophobia and perfectionistic tendencies. Please feel free to contact me to schedule an appointment.
